Looking good Q! And suits its new pot. Did it start life as a clump of trees? Ash

hard to tell, it looks like it could have been 3 trees fused together, but it's pretty old, between 40-50 years

Nice tree. One thing that does jumps out are the aerial roots on the right that have been angled back into the pot. Maybe chop these off or get a slightly larger and shallower pot so they can drop straight down to the soil? Just my 2c.

Hi Qitianlong,

I look at that fig and I think to myself...
"I'm glad it's you and not me at repot time"!!
...apart from that, I wish it was mine and not yours...
What a great tree.

Thanks everyone! Yes, Ryceman3, I actually cracked the pot on the last repot... I think it'll fully split on the next one.

Hey Q, great tree, I guess it’s fairly big, how tall is it? Tim

Hi Tim, when defoliated it's around 45cm from the top of the pot to the apex. It's really starting to stretch out to the sides, so next December I'll re-pot it into a slightly thinner and longer pot.

Very nice tree Q...are some of the larger aerial roots grafted or naturally formed?
