Ficus - Multi trunk # 2

Post by anthonyW »

Hi Guys

This is a fig that I picked up many years ago from a very good friend.

Nature playing a very big part(understatement) from the fig wasp to the animal defecating the seeds to form this special treat.

Originally eight trunks now reduced to six trunks as it was a bit squishy to make it work.

Overtime I have worked the tree firing the trunks out in different directions, growing out, cutting back and repeating and wiring on and off.

Finally the structure is where I like it and the Juvenile look of the trunks dissolving...thanks for looking.

Little up date with a lot more width and depth coming on and a partial defoliation and trim as leaves are healthy and small already, know need to nail for the sake of (cuts out a lot of stress and time) will be refined very soon...cheers
