The tree had build a big canopy, since the humidity was plenty and the tree gave enough shadow the air roots have grown crazy.
Now I went a bit radical in the back cutting to actually work on the crown development of the tree. There are manny roots that are thin, they will die off, the bigger once will grow.
I don't worry about because it will continue to develop new once. The cleaning and back cutting is done to get the structure I desire.

This is a very impressive Bonsai Fig. I would like to start something similar on a smaller scale. Do you have drainage in your "pot"? If not how do you handle watering? My Bonsai live outside in a shade cloth greenhouse and get watered by rain.

This is amazing. The aerial roots are incredible. The humidity in Jakarta would help with this :D. Ive currently got mine in a small hot house that i mist a couple of times a day and keep moist coaxing more roots to form! Just unfortunate that i cant look at it all the time haha
