Nice figs. Just curious, was every fig in that image subject to the same attack?

Yes , they were all effected to different degrees. Took decision to completely defoliate and destroy all effected leaves.

Hi Aubigfig50
Interesting because that's the same problem I had this winter in Sydney.
Started on one fig then spread to several others. Sprayed initially with confidor but no use.
Then found out it could be fungal so removed all the infected leaves and sprayed with lime sulphur.
So far so good, no more new signs of fungal infection. Mind you picking sick leaves off my trees
is easy as there all babies compared to your beauties. Those are awesome looking figs in your picture
I'm curious if you have had this problem in the past and could it kill a tree if left untreated?
cheers
Bob.

Hi Bob. I have had these figs for over 30 years and never had this problem before. It has only effected my figs over the last two winters. I have not had it kill any of my trees but if untreated it will kill branches and effect the health of the tree coming into spring.

Could we see some of the big ones in the background? They look spectacular.

All my figs are Ficus obliqua, Queensland Small-leaved Fig
I collected them from the bush when I was in my early 20's. I am now 60 so have had a few years to work on them lol. I will post a few more pics of them soon.
