Found this in a dry creek bed on a mates property, was growing between a vein of slate.

Thought it might be interesting down the track. Not entirely sure what it is, but the new shoots tell me its related to the Ficus if not actually a Ficus.

Agree, it looks like a ficus. Should settle ok if you keep it in a warm spot and don't over water it while it's recovering.

Bit hard to tell from the photos but I think it might be a white fig. Best way to get an ID is to have in focus photos of the leaves with something for scale.
