apologies to those that i may have offended.
to give myself a reasoning i was just going of what i knew about the trees. and the bracts etc.

i am always happy to be corrected as it is something i learn and will not forget.
i didnt mean to sound like a know it all if thats how it came across. as that is the last thing i claim to be. i dont know everything. just a bit about this and a bit about that.
like i said always happy to be corrected.

sorry if i seemed like an a#$

this is the bougie I bought at Tess's. Just got back from Sydney and the John Hanby event. I did a workshop on Saturday and attended talks and demos on Sunday. I hope to take the electric saw to the bougie on Sunday. Can I repot it into a bigger pot if I don't distrube the roots to much, it is very crowded.

That's a great stump! Wish mine got that bark, it's magic. And I also wish mine was the red bracts not the purple :(

Where are you going to cut it? And you should be ok slip potting it. Mine has been potted already and I am in Melbourne!

What style do you plan for it. So many options.

At the moment it will be a informal upright and most of the clutter at the top is what I will be taking off at the weekend, although I won't be repotting after all, as my partner is going to Brisbane and I can't lift it by my self, maybe next week.

You aren't taking any height off it though? That's probably for the best, I love the current movement even if I have to guess a bit ;)

love to see a side shot of it. Looks like it will be a top tree in the near future!
