Not a very good pic but I managed to do abit of fig cleaning up over the weekend as it was raining sunday and abit cooler to the crap heat we had on Friday/sat. Collected in the mountains by yours truly 14 years ago in a secret spot that a lot of great port Jackson figs came out from Cambewarra bonsai. She is quite a heavy one at over metre long but the pot is less than 100mm high . I really like that right hand branch. If I had the time id build the ramification up through defoliations and pruning but I'm really just doing the bare min at the moment .

Re: Medusa
This is a really interesting tree - very evocative; the name works ‘Medusa’ works well. . I love the pot and the way it is situated in that pot too. It sets everything off wonderfully well I reckon. Thanks for posting this picture.

Re: Medusa
Beautiful natural styling. Absolutely love it. And the name is perfection. I hope you can find the time to work on it more.

Re: Medusa
A pic from behind . If I spent time on this tree it really could shine . I need to defoliate and cut back harder which ill do this jan . Here is another few figs collected in exactly the same spot . Wade and I pulled out like 30 from this area . I got 4 he got the rest for his nursery . The one on the right is defiantly old . all warted up in a early PK pot ( yes pat I love your early pots ) the left fig is actually ROR however over the years the rock is almost as one .
