I believe these are from the Tenth Asia Pacific Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition

http://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/bonsa ... -t1066.htm

It seems Leong from our Bonsai South went over to Taiwan to see it.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Wow!

Now to the Ficus in-experienced bonsai guy like me that realy inspires me to give Ficus a go!

The only Ficus I know of is the one that was in the corner of my mother in law's entrance, looked always sad and when you cut it, it bled white sap all over the place.

Are we talking the same species here?

What varieties and what type of stock should I be looking for?

I suppose most of you Ficus growers are able to grow them outside without difficulty whereas I will probably need to keep them inside here in Kiwi land. Correct?
