ID help. Is this a privet?
This plant hasbeen growing in the garden for nearly 10 years. It has fragrant small white flowers.
Is it a privet?
Can someone help me ID it?
Are they good for bonsai?
Thanks.

Hi Dennis,
It looks like a Murraya paniculata or Orange Jasmine / Orange Jessamine
Cheers
David
EDIT No 3: and Yes they make great Bonsai, its a species that quite a few feel isn't utilized enough in Australian Bonsai.

Re: ID help. Is this a privet?
I got confused as I also have one of those climbing Jasmine and though there are some similarities, I just assumed it was something else.
I Googled "Murraya paniculata bonsai" and found some amazing looking bonsai using this specie. I am keen to start one of my own.
Here is a picture of it's base. Now just to get permission to dig it from my parent's garden.
