[ID] can someone tell what tree this is

Post by Josh »

Hi all. I know this tree but for the life of me can not think of its name. Anyone help me out.
We have about 6 small (1.2 mtr) trees growing in a hedge at work. They are filling in a gap but I might convince the boss they have to come out.

Possibly Tillia cordata; the linden tree.

If so the leaf is fairly large.

Hi, is it known to flower? Any way dig it up with plenty of roots, and see what happens? Maybe wrap the roots after trimming some in Sphagnun moss. Learned that off Mikbonsai. YouTube.
Sorry about the spelling again, my mind is working on only 3 cylinders with this medication. (It was only 4 to start with, LOL)
