You're right that there is not much in it Dansai. The real ID could still go either way.
I don't currently have any fresh leaves down here - still way to cold for Toona to start growing (BTW my trees have now dropped about half the leaves) Just have another look at Rusty's photos. Those leaves look a bit more crinkly than your Toona leaves?? Maybe I'm clutching at straws now but that could be an indicator in the absence of flowers.

I’m about to jump on the road again tomorrow for two weeks. If they are still around (ie the council lawn mower arrives) I’ll update a photo
Thanks for the input everyone!

Sorry for the delay but just making sure it’s not Rhus, otherwise I’ll get council to remove them from the dog park!

Looks more and more like tree of heaven. The terminal leaflet is not usually present in Toona leaf.
Tree of heaven stinks if you crush the leaves. Also has raised glands on the underside of the leaflets near the base. https://keyserver.lucidcentral.org/weed ... issima.htm
Probably worth letting council know anyway because tree of heaven is also a weed and should be removed. Their parks people will be able to work out what it is and what to do about it.
