Has anyone here ever successfully grown a Westringia or Grevillea bonsai?

My understanding is that they're both *difficult.*

I have no idea about the Westringia, I'm guessing the ones sold here go on to be dead sitting on top of someones tv unit or windowsill in no time.

I believe Ruth a member here has good success with Grevilleas, I would love to see more on them.

That aint even the half of it.

In the same order I got what was supposed to be a 1.50 meter E. gunnii, what turned up is a 2 meter plus beast that wont even stand up in the pot.
Don't think winter is the best time to trunk chop that so I have to find a way for it to survive. The wife wants me to plant it but really don't think we have the room for a massive Euc.

I believe that Ruth is one of the few members here who seemed to have some success with Grevillea! I wish I could get more info on them too....although most people on this forum are not in the sub-tropics, so I guess their info isn't all that relevant to me.

Well if I can get my hands on a more suitable variety I'm happy to try one out just for the sake of it, I am trying to but I have not found any locally and online is a mixed bag.
