Hi all,
I think this is the stump of an olive. The old stump has shot a number of smaller branches and am thinking of taking it out of the ground and hooking into it with a carving tool. getting it out of the ground will be a massive job so I would like to confirm the species first and then if you guys think that it would be worthy of playing with. Thanks in advance for any advice.
ID on this tree stump please

I'll go with olive as well but not sure if it is European or African type.
