id help

Post by Mbunro »

I got this one from a friend who bought it as tube stock early 2016 and apparantly was told it was a bottlebrush.
The photos are from October but it's still pushing flowers now, and seems to be a very fast grower.
I'm thinking it would be a good contender for the next shohin comp, so want to find a little bit about it nice and early.

The flowers kind of look right but the foliage on this one looks like and is the same size as a squamata juniper but softer.

I think you have helped id a couple of other plants I was recently given though

This is not an Australian native but rather an Erica species or hybrid.
