Species id: possible weeping shurb maybe

Possible so sort of weeping tree. Just interested in knowing if its native or not. Thanks

Hi Keeles . Acacia pravissima , Ovens Wattle . There is a dwarf cultivar and a prostrate form too .

I agree with that ID. A. pravissima is a native. Comes from North east Vic but has been widely planted as farm revegetation and in parks and gardens. Masses of golden flowers in spring. It is ,however, one of the short lived Acacias. Most only live 8-10 years.
