Not quite sure

Post by demps »

Anybody got an I.D on this one? Got a few things from a local rainforest nursery today and this no-name was thrown in for free :aussie: A melly or callistemon I'm presuming but not sure on species name

Cheers

Looks like a callistemon to me but there are so many similar varieties, perhaps 'little john'
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

Nice score for a freebie Demps. Looks like it's well overdue to come out of that little pot!
Good luck with it! Show us a pic when it flowers :D

Hmmm hard to tell with the callistemons huh gerard, will wait and see until it flowers as KCAR suggests!
It stands about 60cm tall and needs a pretty decent trunk chop as it has grown in tube stock for quite some time and has become very leggy.Kknowing how vigorous these grow there should be no probs! Really looking forward to the future of this one

Cheers for the help guys :)
