You will need a photo editor with a scale function.On Windows the Photos app can do this. You can search online for step-by-step instructions.

Basically, the smaller you scale an image the smaller in size the file will be.

Another approach is using an image editor to compress the file. Save the file in a formt like jpeg and then increase the compression rate.

I am pretty lazy. I tend to take a photo with my phone, then take a screenshot of that photo. Works for me…

Hi Irish . I use a Resizer app for Apple devices ,it’s fairly simple to use . I reduce it down to roughly 1100 and then save it as a jpeg .
