Species Allocasuarina littoralis
Height 15cm
Width 15cm
1 month in training
January this year, I brought this Allocasuarina littoralis seedling from my local indigenous nursery. It remains in the 15cm plastic pot I bought it in, although I did put a wire around the tap root to encourage new root growth and death of the long tap root.
In April 2011, I decided to wire it in a hard bend like I had seen at the local primary school while voting.
I broke the trunk.
Can you see where? I like the result. If I was only game enough to do this to all my trees.
Today it looks like this.
That break did survive. I am leaving the branches on the trunk to thicken the trunk. They might be useful later, I'll let you know.
Thanks for looking at my entry.
Cheers
Tim
