I have had this Port Jackson Fig for almost 3 years and I am not sure of it's age but it has nice textured bark so probably at least 10 years. When I got this tree it was pot bound and had grown long and spindly branches, though a nice trunk. It was also infested with scale and mites which unfortunately spread to my other trees! So first up was a repot, getting it healthy and then a was severe prune. And wire, prune, defoliate, prune ....repeat, repeat....and another year or two and I think I will be pretty happy.
