Looks great Kerrin, appearance is improving rapidly.
How much was the original tree?
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Pot excluded I'm sure that many people (myself included) would pay a lot more than that!

IMO this is a perfect example of a combination of good stock choice, a vision and skill.
All culminating in a very pleasing result in a short time frame.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
