This tree was on display at the Bonsai Northwest Show 10 days ago with the autumn foliage and the other side as the front.
I have placed heavy wire in the main trunkline and moved it down and foreward. There was about 2cm removed from the end of the branch as it was coming straight down but I do wish to move the branch more foreward and down. Slowly slowly.

Lovely tree Gerard and sorry Bodhi, I prefer this pot.
For me it is a much better size and less busy without the 2 tone colours

This is a great little tree and having seen it in person the photo's above do not (IMO) depict how small this tree is!

An absolute awesome tree and IMO one of the best of it's kind I've personally seen.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Inspirational collection!
I particularly like the first elm; I have one that has been running wild and fattening up in a big pot for a year, and I might try to achieve something similar with it....
I have a small forest of trees destined for shohin and mame when the time is right and am enjoying selecting pots for them in the meantime.
Thank you for sharing these lovely trees!
