Here is a little exersise in pruning for improvement. On a Ficus and then you get some more !!!

Thanks for taking the time to show these photos in order to give me the confidence to amputate a few limbs Pup, I'm just not sure how high up the amputation is required. Not sure either if I want any more cuttings.

Jon I got some. I am absolutely amazed the top I cut of has rooted and is showing its first flush of new leaves. I was defoliating on boxing day and saw this so I potted it (oops to late ) up. After I had soaked it I realised( I shoulda took some pics). In about a month I will check them and take a pic promise. :D Pup

Ripper little mini Pup - I have a pot just like that one, perhaps I should have struck some of those cuttings after all. Mind you I have difficulty keeping little minis alive.

The pruning is great... brings balance back to the tree and what a nice 'off cut'. Good on Ya.
