If you're after Japanese Elm specifically then work the phones and the internet.

Chinese Elm are very common in WA as garden and street trees. Various fici(sp?) will do root over rock and are everywhere (cutting from the local park!)

Trident maple are a common subject in Japan but struggle in Perth.

Don't want to seem petty but the hijacking is not nice.

Pup wrote:]August 14 2013 I accepted a challenge of a root over rock in 18 months. Today I decided to have a look at how it was progressing, surprise better than expected so here is that update.

As you can see it was a very pleasant surprise so now we wait on more development.

Cheers Pup
Looking great Pup, the size of your tree's are always so deceptive (the point I guess), at first glance I always think they are so much larger then they actually are.

Looking like you'll definatley have a decent RoR in that 18months! :o :worship:
Have a question? The AusBonsai Wiki most likely has the answer!

Looking for a Nursery or Club near your? Check out the AusBonsai Directory which lists them all
