I potted up this little banksia in December (or maybe January )
It has grown considerably while I was not looking and it is definitely time for a trim. Regular pinching would have created more ramification but at least the roots will be well established now.
This one has very small leaves but I'm not sure whether that is due to genetics or conditions - should strike some cuttings to see whether they get larger leaves if allowed to grow freely under ideal conditions.
I am assuming it is B. integrifolia but could be B. marginata - grown from seed a couple of years ago.shohin banksia
