Steven, this is amazing to me.
It really illustrates what is possible with mature stock. The change in the box over 3 years is staggering. Well done and thank you for posting the progression.

I just looked again...

PS - I am trying to work out this excellent progression. Am I right in that you have achieved the look, in part by tilting the original tree - enabling you to have a more erect main truck and then the secondary trunk on the right.
PPS - Also, have you used a coloured cut paste on the Myrtle; clever if so, it is almost invisible.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, the box has been tilted to the right to make the right hand trunk a branch.

The cut paste on the Crepe Is the one in the yellow tube.

Hi Steven, Thank you for sharing. Interested to see how the Chinese Elm is doing. The one from your first post on the rock. You also posted a picture of it after being chopped due to reverse taper.
