Hi moderators
I see that both my entries have been reclassified to category 2 in the comp , i surmise that is because I didn't post any updates till recently. I'm not complaining about this but I'm just wanting to know whether they are still eligible for the comp or are they dissqualified. Thanks for your assistance
cheers

Hi Peter,

Your entries have been disqualified as you did not post an update in the required time frame.

Regards,
Steven

It is tough Peter but the line has to be drawn somewhere and deadlines are deadlines rather than guidelines.

Keep working on your trees though. I believe they will still be eligible for the 'refine' category next time if another similar comp runs after this one finishes.

We love to see newbies enter our comps as it stretches your skill and experience.
to win or lose is not the main thing, but to compete.

Also there is no way they we can tell, who is really a newbie or not so then next comp, just jump in and go for it

Hi Shibui
Agree with you 100% , rules are rules :palm: . That was why I made sure the mods knew I wasn't complaining. I went back and reread the rules and it states plain as day when we need to submit updates :tu: Mods you guys do a great job of keeping this site running smoothly :hooray: and we do appreciate the time you guys take
cheers
