This is a little Dwarf Japanese Wisteria, Millettia Japonica 'Hime Fuj'
I started this from a root cutting about 3 years ago.

These make delightful bonsai. Most people freak out when they hear that they don't flower but the charm is in the form.

They are very nice, branches are very brittle so need to be careful training .

Any update on this little guy? Mine is about to sprout form its winter dormancy and has 2 leaves remaining of its previous growth, so looks like a skeleton. Not many of these guys around, or at least not many people post about them.
