Bonsai Blog - Evan Marsh

Post by evan »

Hi Ausbonsai

For those who don't know me, I'm Evan, a 20 year old, Sydney based Bonsai artist who's currently studying with Koji Hiramatsu at Hiramatsu Shunshoen in Takamatsu, Japan. With the much appreciated help of Steven, I've set up my Ausbonsai blog "Part-Time Deshi" where I'll be posting my adventures over the next few months.

https://www.ausbonsai.com.au/blog/evan/

So I hope you enjoy what I'll be posting in the next few months (and hopefully get my sense of humour). There is also some discussion with Steven at the moment about putting on a Q&A with Koji sometime in January, so keep your eyes open for the details about that.

I spent a whole night trying to figure out what the "special" shade cloth was for, and then Koji said that gem.

I think doing the blog is also keeping me sane, as I have a needless compulsion to always reference the Simpsons.
