Thats the way alpine. looking like its got a good start. interesting pot too.
Do you have a winter growing area for figs or are you just testing the boundaries of a figs repotting window?
Cheers,
Ces.

Re: [Alpineart] Port Jackson fig
Hi Ces , mate i place them under a pergola over winter , however this and the Ishitsuki will reside inside the house , just a little warmer . My Summer finished a month ago and now its Winter . lousy colour on most tree's some of which dropped their green leaves without change . Our rainfall have been pathetic although we have had 75mm in the last 2 days , this is 1/3 of the rain we have recieved since early December . I was still watering daily a month back .
Repotting window is there one , shite i re-potted all the figs just over a month ago and set various combinations to play with .It was Summer up here then , now its winter , only lost one Green Island Fig and i think it was the Rustica fertilizer that killed it not the re-pot .
The pot is an Alpineart "1" off , nothing to do on the day exercise , i sand cast a few different shapes and styles a few years ago .
Cheers Alpine

Re: [Alpineart] Port Jackson fig
This has been trimmed and is just beginning to sprout new shoots
Cheers Alpineart
, with Winter and the cold it has been slow . I plan to continue along the same lines keeping this as a shohin however it is in need of some major root work to creat a showy Narebri so i will pot it into a larger tray and begin the work . Ramafication will begin this season and i will keep an eye on it instead of overlooking it . It will be placed with the rest of the developing trainers in the shade house .Cheers Alpineart
