Was recently potted into this unique pot.

The future:
will continue to ramify and thin out as time goes on but im pretty happy with its refinement thus far.

currently sitting at 25cm high.
recently had all yellow wintering leaves removed to reveal the structure, will set about winter work on this tree soon.

bonsai are constantly evolving, lets see if this tree can be better.
repotted and changed angle on this about 2 months back.

Wow mate ... what an awesome tree and solid work . It just goes to show what you can do with a tree. Hopefully with posts like these other people can take a bonsai or find a yamadori turn it upside down and make something awesome from it .
Think outside the box hey !!!
Take that tree you dont know what to do with and do a handstand !!!!

Thanks guys! this tree has always been an experimental piece working with the boundaries of line and balance. this new stage is moving towards a more subtle play with those dynamics, i have plans though to rework the foliage into something rather interesting in the future, soon we will see.

still growing, havnt got onto this guy this season yet, been rather slow too, letting him be for now. will work the foliage come winter.

Just read this post of yours. What awesome foresight, I'm amazed that you've turned what most people would do, ie create a cascade into the reverse, just awesome and loving it. Great vision. Fantastic :clap: :clap:
