Autumn 2015 Canberra

Australian conditions vary from one extreme to another. What do you do and when do you do it?

Autumn 2015 Canberra

Post by RONG »

Nights have started to cool off in Canberra. Seeing the first signs of Autumn color in some trees - a beautiful time of year here. Some trees have colored up more than others but they are all on the way.
Images are of my Bonsai growing benches, some individual Bonsai that have started to color up and some other trees in our Bonsai area/yard that give the place that touch of magic this time of year in the Southern Highlands.

The Japanese Maple in the garden pot looks amazing, like an upside down set of traffic lights. You have some beautiful trees there.

... Did I count 5 azaleas...?

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

Hi all
Thank you for your kind remarks - much appreciated

Jarad have not got 5 Azalea bonsai - 2 only - a 28 year old kurume ' kirin' and a 25 year old sao-to-me. Have over 20 azaleas in the garden all over 25 years old and flower profusely.
