Christmas Weather
What a wet and windy Christmas in Sydney. It was on the cold side only about 18C yet the previous two days were in the high 30's. What a difference a day makes.
My camelias and hornbeams got sunburnt whilst the natives didn't miss a beat.
Now I read that it is -30C in Moscow and -60C in Siberia. Now that's cold

Re: Christmas Weather
You'd be looking forward to Friday Pup, what with that cool change coming through and all.
WA has had a weird year all round with the weather hasn't it?
Lucky for us we had a shower of rain this evening - cooled the place a bit, but now it's just steamy again. Just part of the fun that is the sub-tropics I guess.

Can't complain here. Adelaide has had a run of beautiful days in the high 20's.
Perfect weather for a few beers and getting out in the backyard.

Re: Christmas Weather
Hmmm although Melbourne weather is questionable and can turn on you like something with rabies , I would much prefer it to the stress of 40+ several days in a rowPup wrote:Christmas day in Kelmscott 41 today 41 tomorrow forecast 40 Friday 39 sat 41 so I think we are in for a stinker of a week leading up to the end of 2012.

Re: Christmas Weather
Well guys last day of 2012 and has she been hot, 42 on the back patio, and where I keep my Figs I will show you the thermometer.
Also the trees that were defoliated on the 24th of November. We are told that plants stop growing when the temperatures reach what ever.
Mine are growing, in the heat wave that we have had for the last week and a half, as long as the water is kept up to them. Must admit to 4 times today. As you can see it gets warm here, trees love it provided they are watered.
Now where is that Kilkenny Cheers Pup
