) WATER to compensate (lol, my dogs have an A/C in their dog box) but then I work mostly outside (obviously not smart enough to get jobs inside!) and I get used to it. Funny thing is, when we get to Perth, we wear long pants and light jackets in summer!

It can let water out of the soil (as it is porous) so it is better than concrete
It gets bloody hot (it's plastic after all) so it's not as good as grass
It will melt if the sun gets concentrated in any way!
it is Very important to Take note on things such as Drying times of Pots, both overnight and daytime,
nor would grass stand up to the traffic or the heat here .It would be much easier to put up more shade sails
