Happy Winter Solstice Day everyone,
June Solstice (Winter Solstice) is on Thursday, 21 June 2018 at 8:07 pm in Sydney. In terms of daylight, this day is 4 hours, 31 minutes shorter than on December Solstice. In locations south of Equator, the shortest day of the year is around this date.

I keep all of mine where they are ALL year round . Im in a narrow valley so this time of year I see daylight about 8.20am and nightfall at 4.40pm. some trees get 5-6 hrs others 2hrs max atm . Never had a issue in 8 years being here. Its winter , cold and nothing is growing here atm . summer time they all get a good 8-10 hrs a day

:geek: The shortest day in Australia is today the 22 June.
The sun at noon is at its lowest for the year, so from today it will appear higher in the sky until its zenith on the 22nd December.
