Hot xmas and boxing days and going away

Australian conditions vary from one extreme to another. What do you do and when do you do it?

Make sure your hoses are shaded.
Even on a 40' day the water in the hose will heat to 100' and the sudden flush off hot water will burn everything it hits.
Cover Nabari with a course easily removed mix for cooling.
Pot temperature needs to be kept low as again even a 40' day will radiate 2 or 3 times the ambient.
Mini's need to be watched ..that goes with out saying :palm:

howd your plants end up going.

i was away for 35 days, and managed to keep (almost) everything alive with 2 of these kits and a 30 dollar tap timer.

one kit (6 sprinklers) to the grow beds and one kit to the benches... swapped out 3 of the dripper style ones on the benches for misters though.
ran twice a day for 15 minutes.
only had 2 deaths due to one of my grow bed lines getting strangled by my chili plants which where going wild

Will set up a sprinkler that the daughter will open for a set time daily. Will start her intense training soon. Please pray for me and the trees.... :crybye:
did they all survive?
