I came home from Tassie this morning, as the wife and i have been away celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary, (yes, a feat in itself) and was welcomed with some glorious Autumn colour.

excellent trees and colour--Ive never had an english elm in a pink --mine tend to get sun damaged and go straight to a dirty, edge frazzled yellow - which is ok as long as I don't look too close

Congratulations Bhodi, 20 years is quite a milestone. My wife & I have done it twice, I just wish I had some bonsai from when we started together. Congrats also on your outstanding success with your trees, I'm so jealous!! ;) But I look forward to when I'll be in my 80's and have some trees like that too.

God wouldn't it be nice to be able to keep enough leaves on the deciduous tree for them to colour up in autumn, we here in Perth struggle with the hot summer winds, to prevent burning particularly on the softer leave varieties.

Very nice !!!!!

Cheers,
Jeff
