Wisteria Yellow Spots on leaves!

Post by pureheart »

Hi All,

Please help :lost: :lost: I have been very good with my Japanese Wisteria, watering every day and fertilizing... but there are few leaves with yellow spots as in picture???
Why??? What am I doing wrong? is that a pest/disease?

not sure--could be fungal--have you checked under the leaves for bugs of some sort.--perhaps avoid wetting the leaves when watering

Don't worry too much about it. Give more water, more fertilizer and more sun and the plant will take care of the rest. Most wisterias are underfed by about 200%

I have to agree with Treeman. Likely it is a mildew. Indicates insufficient sunlight. Wisterias need lots of fertiliser and plenty of water in summer. Actually you can even stand them in water in summer say December through to the end of March and they will appreciate it as long as they get plenty of exposure to the sun light.
