ID it please

Hi all , please identify if you know this pests name I found it in a cutting after it’s dead,

That's hard to see, but if you mean the white bit, looks like scale.

Little white/clear grubs are probably larvae of fungus gnats. Quiet common in organic rich material and especially in house plants that are kept wet.
I don't think they do much damage. Some sites I checked say they eat roots but others are saying that they only eat rotting roots.
You can use pesticide to kill them but also a bit less water so that the soil mix dries out a bit will also help.

Most likely a mealybug (Pseudococcidae). Genus and species identification is possible only with high magnification microscopy.

Oh terrific. There is a chance I might need glasses. I think at 40yrs old I shouldn’t need to hold something 40cm from my face to focus properly. :no:
