Camellia Problem

Post by Jester »

Hi there crazy kids. I'm no camellia expert......but pls have a look at the leaf below and tell me what you think. My initial diagnosis is the Ribbed Tea Mite (Calacarus carinatus)., due to the bronzing of the leaf. Who can assist ?

Many thanks

John

I should also mention that the leaves have a few odd depressions about half the size of a pinhead.

It doesnt look like sunburn, if this is only a few leaves I would remove them and dispose, if it is the whole plant you need an expert diagnosis, sorry not my expertise.
If you are not killing plants, then you are not extending yourself as a gardener..
