Hi Guys and Gals
I reckon we should put the hat around and buy one of these babies, then we could go on a proper dig

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

You guys are just being ridiculously immature. Mods, can you delete this thread? This is stupid. I mean how can you think of using machines like this, let alone suggest it on a site where impressionable beginners get the wrong idea. This is childish and distasteful in the extreme. I mean just imagine how many lovely pots will be chipped and cracked when repotting in spring! As a bonsai pot lover I find the tools suggested here totally impractical. I mean perhaps if you go for those cheap Chinese pots it would be ok. Oh, and those look like they are carbon steel. Better not leave them lying around the garden. They'll rust in no time.

Sorry Andrew but I have to disagree! My sons' Matchbox tractor is incredibly suitable for the test and, with slight improvisation, works like a charm!
Ok, so we can't use a hydraulic Jack-hammer but nonetheless it works! We've even got the tractors sounds down pat!
I think you just need to go with the times...

You Aussies are SO weak! In South Africa we just do that with our hands. Sure, it's not great for the finger nails, but you do it enough and they get used to it.
