Re: Tools Question
I'm planning to buy some stuff off the Kaneshin website, how does the tax work for those who have used it? Basically the tax is paid upon arrival to the country it says on the website.

Re: Tools Question
I have made several purchases through the website and never paid extra in tax upon arrival. What I paid Kaneshin is what I paid. I think they say taxes etc. may be applicable as a way to cover their a$$e$ just in case there are extra charges implemented by govts or whoever depending on where you order from. Maybe I have been lucky though???TimS wrote:I'm planning to buy some stuff off the Kaneshin website, how does the tax work for those who have used it? I will say the service and delivery time was seriously good... I’ll be back!

Re: Tools Question
I've never paid tax on arrival either. An order has to be over $1000 before GST is charged?

Re: Tools Question
Second vote for Yarra Valley Club - the workshop is on this Saturday afternoon - you would be very welcome to come along - bring a tree to work on, or just get to know the members, they will all be working on their trees. PM me if you need more details.
