A source of copper wire

Post by SteveT »

Hello my fellow Australians. If anyone is looking for copper wire rather than copper coated aluminum then you can get it from this supplier: http://aemetal.rtrk.com.au/

Their online payment system looks unsecured (not https) so I'd suggest phoning them. The price is fair and the product is fairly soft (annealed).

If only I could find a supplier of Akadama in Queensland i'd be happy.

Could I trouble you Pup for a picture of the Akadama Bag or a description of the brand. Is it hard or soft Akadama?
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone had purchased wire from these guys yet?
I was wondering how good the wire is for bonsai and if it's as good as the stuff labeled bonsai wire?
I'm also Hating their payment system and was hoping someone else had used it and that they didn't get ripped off.

Thanks.

Hey guys, why not trying an electrician???? Im a sparky and finding copper wire is never a prob. All sparky's recycle their scraps as there are dollars to be made, but if you know someone, or go and ask at a building site, someone may give you a few off cuts
