Lazy susan turntables

Post by melbrackstone »

Just a heads up for anyone looking to upgrade their turntables. http://www.popsshed.com.au/Product_List ... 7&scid=130

Hubby bought me one of these recently, and it's the ducks nuts, even if I do say so myself! There are sizes that will take up to 300kg! REckon that'd cover most of the bonsai I've seen. :)

Hi mel' I recently purchased 20 similar turntables from 'aus-tools' {ebay} or 'Industrial tool online' in Ballarat
P1110671.JPG
these 100mm items are rated at 137 kgs . They have them from 50mm to 300mm plus , made in America so they are heavy duty . I haven't got around to setting all of these up just yet .

Cheers .Alpineart

I grabbed one the other day to see how it'd go for working on smaller pots etc

The easiest (and cheapest) is an old office chair from the tip. 50c will get you a chair, whizz the seat off and fit a round or square board to the base and..TA Da, one turntable.

x2 for this suggestion, except up here they get thrown out almost daily and left on the side of the road. If lucky you can find one with a working gas lift too!

other than that I have $2 shop special lazy Suzan. have a small and a large one that get let out in all weather and still good after about 10years!

I do like the idea of the old office chair! Like Ken says, we often see them on the side of the road here... Thanks Bodhi!
