Hi guys,
Over five years ago (probably longer) my wife and I decided to breed and after seeing that look in her eye after the first one I knew I was going to to be busy! So I stocked up on Maidenwell diatomite, wire, pots etc. said "see you later" to my bonsai club at the time and bunkered down.
3 kids and a major career change later I'm continuing with the hobby but my stocks are low! Getting most things is easy but diatomite? What happened to Maidenwell? Is Mt Sylvia ok? Where can I get it in the Yarra Valley Victoria area?
Any help would be appreciated.
Is everyone still using diatomite? Where can I get it now?

I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.

Bonsai Roots in Chirnside Park stock diatomite (as well as pine bark) ... pretty sure it's Mt Sylvia & it seems OK. Not too far from you, sorry don't have the contact details on hand but can find them if you need. Welcome back!!

Mate that's awesome if they do stock it. Churnside Park is much closer than I'd expected to travel for it.
Thanks a lot!
