Old Bread Knives Great for Reducing Roots

Post by MelaQuin »

Bonsai tools are notoriously expensive but a second hand bread knife from an op shop or a garage sale is a great tool to saw through roots when you are repotting. It withstands the work well, you can usually get one for about $2 and if you lose it or break it you don't have to weep.

I won one in our schools raffle a few years ago

Nice Stainless steel one with a Stanless integral handle

Come repotting time it is invaluable. Best tool in the Shed !!( Unlike Me :-))
