Canberra has a very active bonsai community.
There are 2 groups:
The Canberra Bonsai Society http://www.cbs.org.au (a great website, worth visiting)
and
Weston Creek Bonsai Group
Both have an annual show. CBS in October and WCBG in April.
We also have the National Bonsai & Penjing Collection of Australia here in Canberra
