So sad!

They have demolished Master Robert's creations.
He said that he will post more details later. and said:
Thanks to all friends for your comment and sympathy. Will come back in full story with authentic papers. Just want to say...WE ARE NOT ILLEGAL !...and the demolition is a cruelty, incapability and ignorance of our "legal" national bonsai organization !

I ask lots of questions that sound like suggestions. Please remember I am a inquisitive newbie trying to figure out why You made a particular decision, in order to learn.

Basically Pluit Bonsai Centre (National Bonsai Centre in Indo) has been demolished by the government :palm: There is a lot to the story, so you're better off going to Robert Steven's FB page and reading up on it there. I'd go into more detail, but everything is a bit confusing, plus some is lost in translation, so I don't want to get it wrong

And I though bonsai was meant to be a peaceful, non-political pursuit. :lost:

:crybye:

Very sad indeed.

What they really wasted the trees rather than take them away?

I was thinking the same Rudy, there seems to be very little greenery in those piles of rubble.
And it appears that many trees may have been removed from the other side that wasn't destroyed; maybe in anticipation?

At least I'm hoping that's the case.
