Does anyone know of the Bibo Bonsai Nursery in Peats Ridge NSW. Is it still in operation and if so has anyone been there?
Thanks Marleeney

Re: Bibo Bonsai Nursery
I do remember seeing a post here a few months ago with someone saying it closed down due to someone passing away. I fairly certain it's not there any longer but I'm not sure if the passing of someone was the cause.

Unfortunately it looks like they closed in December 2006 according to Newcastle Bonsai Society Newsletter...

Wow, I did'nt realise it was so long ago Elias. What a shame, he had some good cotoneaster stock. Hard to find decent thick trunked cotoneaster stock anywhere in Sydney.

Re: Bibo Bonsai Nursery
Hi Marleeny,
Whilst many years ago the nursery closed due to the previous owner passing away, it reopened under new ownership by a great married couple.
Unfortunately they closed the nursery (late last year from memory).
They certainly had some fantastic stock and there were some excellent bargains during the closing down period.
Again a real pity as it's a long hike down from the Central Coast to the Sydney nurseries
Regards
Steve
