Re: Joining teh Illawarra Bonsai Club
Hi, my name is Brenda Parker and I am the President of the Illawarra Bonsai Society in Gymea, Sydney. Anyone is welcome to come to our meetings on the third Monday of every month (except for December and January) at the Gymea Community Hall, Gymea Bay Road,
Gymea. We start at 7.30 p.m. Our next meeting will be on the 20th July, 2009 and all you have to do is to turn up and make yourself known. There will be no obligation to join when you do visit, you can just come along and see what we do, and then you can decide on whether to join us or not.
When you do become a fully paid up member (annual fees are )$30 membership, $20 pensioners and associate) you will be entitled to free lessons at one of our committee member's home at Peakhurst on every Sunday from 8 a.m. to about 10.30 p.m. The membership also includes a monthly newsletter. On this day it will be your decision whether you come every Sunday or just when you want to. There again, no obligation. Morning tea is supplied.
Our club has been going for 40 years and we have a lot of experienced members.
Kind regards, Brenda (visit our website http://www.illawarrabonsaisociety.org )
