Hi Ozzy

I would like to confirm some information.

Chojo Feature Trees is open from 9:00 - 5:00, Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to stop by during the week, give the nursery a call, and we can arrange an appointment. There is no obligation to purchase anything at anytime. We are more than happy to show you the nursery and the stock during the week or on the weekend. We are located in Mount Evelyn (The Dandenong Ranges) approximately 1 hour from the CBD. Our stock is priced and we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the material. Our new website is finished and will be active this week, chojo.com.au. Here is the facebook page if you would like to see some snaps. https://www.facebook.com/chojo.featuretrees .

If you are a bonsai enthusiast, I would recommend all of the suggested nurseries. The tree you are looking for could very well be at any of these locations. They all carry quality stock, and the differences between them, is what makes the full tour worthwhile. Nurseries will always offer the best selection of stock. Based on the price of items sold through Ebay and Ausbonsai, I think it the pricing to be very competitive.

If you happen to coming to town this weekend (May 12 - 13), check out the Victorian Native Bonsai Club. There will be excellent native stock (and pots) available.

Cheers,
Jeff

Just have a look at the Ausbonsai Directory, has all the information including opening times, contact info and some info on what is stocked. Plus a little write up about the nursery  All in one simple spot :tu:

The link below in filtered to show only the bonsai nurseries in Vic:

https://www.ausbonsai.com.au/directory/? ... location=7

Hopefully that helps :)
Have a question? The AusBonsai Wiki most likely has the answer!

Visited Bonsai Sensation for the first time today. What a fantastic assortment of stock they have there. John and Grant were very helpful. I wandered for a few hours and appreciated what they had. John has a fantastic eye and has wired some marvellous trees. I'm going back again this week and next week methinks.

Just wondering if there would be any updates to the list here as to where you would recommend to go to. I'm very new to bonsai and when I click the Directory link suggested above but it says "Page not found" so hoping members will be able to assist.
